About Sasha

Her delicate, complex jewelry pieces evoke a sense of both past and present, and the joyful energy that she infuses into her creations is easily appreciated. Largely influenced by the shapes and patterns of the natural world, Sasha incorporates precious and semi precious stones, found and re-purposed objects, and a variety of organic shapes to create jewelry that is truly a work of fine art.

Nature is a big reference point for her designs. She believes that art is about the spirit... it touches into faith, whatever that may be to you.

“I think you have to risk being a little daring to allow an idea to develop and work off. Through visual imagery, I tell a story with a mix of handpicked materials, found objects, and awe inspiring gemstones. My job is to put both emotion and the material in symbiosis, so that they tell the same story. And it is a passion for me to connect with your story and inspire something new in you.”

Each piece is unique, and can be worn, as well as observed. It can take you to a place that is beyond everyday – out of the ‘seen’ world to a place of mystery and grace.

Sasha got her formal education in metal-smithing at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and furthered her skills while residing with a sculptor in Boston. She also had an established fine-art business in Maine. Sasha now resides in Asheville NC and currently has a studio in the River Arts District (RAD).
